When I start this 60-mile walk in November, it will be just over 12 years since I heard the dreaded words, “you have cancer.” While I knew that breast cancer was in my family history, ovarian cancer wasn’t on my radar. Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight to end breast cancer! The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. I will be walking in San Diego on November 21—23, 2014. Net proceeds help support research, scientific programs and community-based breast health and education programs for women and men facing breast cancer.
